About

My work is born from my delight in pattern, design and decoration.  Each piece is a one of a kind original, made with care and attention to detail.  All of my work is handbuilt using slab construction.  It is decorated using a combination of stamping, sgraffito (carving through colored slip) and embellished with small sprigs and slip dots. The stamps, rollers and textures that I use are all original designs which I create by carving and hand modeling clay which is then bisque fired.  My desire is to create special pieces that I hope will be treasured for years to come.  My work is my joy and I sincerely hope that this can be felt by those who view it.
